SUBMIT A PRAYER REQUEST
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8
Throughout scripture, we see several instances where God encourages us to seek his face in prayer for whatsoever we need. As a matter of fact, James, the Apostle wrote to the early Christians saying one of the reasons they did not have, was because they did not ask God for what they needed in prayer.
"Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." - James 4:2-3
In the scripture above, Apostle James explains the steps to take to ensure answers to prayer:
Step 1: Ask God for what you need in Prayer.
Step 2: Don't ask amiss i.e. don't ask for things that will feed your selfish interests and lusts.
God wants to answer your prayers. He wants to meet your needs, whatever they may be. As a loving Father, he cares deeply for you.
